Appearance: Wes is tall, 6'1, with shaggy, sandy blond hair. His twinkling green eyes are framed by defined eyebrows and a prominent nose is another defining feature. He often is seen wearing a mischievious dimpled smile that spreads across full, smooth lips, matching his personality. He generally wears skinny jeans and tees and a beanie, a causual sort of look that he often described to magazines as "Skater-punk".
Personality: Wes is a strong headed young man, though he can't seem to keep that determination focused on one thing. He a stubborn young man but his attentions switch rather suddenly and without warning. He has an addicitive personality, meaning he tends to hooked on things rather easily. He is currently trying to stop smoking and has dealt with several other drug problems before in his young life. He is deeply sarcastic, full of energy and outgoing. He makes friends easily, but the real challenge is keeping them.
History: Growing up London, Wes didn't have a good childhood at all. His mother left when he was only 2 (something Wes has never forgiven her for) and his father was abusive. His older brother Ian was the only person who even seemed to care about him. Ian was 5 years older and protected Wes from their abusive father practically his whole life. When Wes was 13, Ian had to leave for college, unable to take Wes with him. Ian had promised to send for Wes when he felt he could provide for him. Sadly that never came...Ian died in a car crash a year later, leaving Wes completely alone in the world.
With Ian gone, Wes became the primary focus for his father's rage. He first got addicted to pot at 14 as a way to deal with his brother's death and his father's abuse. Eventually that turned into cocaine by the time he was 16.
He also dealt with with his life by getting into music. He'd write songs and at 15 he taught himself to play guitar in just one day (one positive of his addictive personality). The manager of the music store he frequented happened to know a pretty famous record producer who was searching for a 5th member for his new boy band project. Wes wasn't crazy about the idea of being in a boy band but he was willing to do most anything to get away from his father. The producer came and listened to Wes at the request of the store manager and the next thing Wes new he was a part of "Radio Remedy", a boy band with four other guys about his age which was 17 at the time.
It was there that he met his best friend Logan. He got along with all of the guys but he and Logan became best friends quickly. He enjoyed the publicity for short while but it got harder to handle the more popular they got. Wes quickly went back to his old vices and soon he'd added heroine to his list of addictions. When he was 19, he nearly died of an overdose after one of their concerts and it was only then he realized he needed to sober up and he finally made the decision to quit Radio Remedy. He wanted to persue music in a different way and he decided on a rather spontanious notion to join the Paris Opera House.
Other: Logan is the only member of Radio Remedy he keeps in contact with. He still has scars on his arms from needle tracts from dealing with heroine and still suffers occasional bouts of withdrawl.
