History:
When Rose was a child, she was very loving and caring, and loved nature. She is the child of David Erik and Julieta Maria (Ortega) Dubois. Rose was a very imaginative child, and loved to pretend. She loved music and art, and she was infatuated with folk tales and fantasy. She made friends with the children who were mocked and scorned by the others. While her father did not approve of her compassion towards these outcasts, her mother was greatly relieved. Her mother taught her to play piano and violin, and to sing like an angel, and she also taught her to read, write, and draw. Rose loved to ride her horse, and take a fishing pole to the little stream by her house to catch fish for her mother.
When she was 13, her mom died from pancreatic cancer, and her father became abusive, and he turned towards drinking in order to console himself. Rose was beaten and punished violently because her father couldn't think clearly while on his drunken rages. It only added to her pain and heartbreak at the loss of her sweet mother. When she was 14, she decided to run away from her father’s brutality, but she didn't manage to until she was fifteen years of age. She managed to hitchhike to Casper, Wyoming, and bought a plane ticket to Spain and worked in Madrid for a year and a half before journeying to Paris, and then going to the Opera House and found a job as the gardener (and stagehand). She never associated with the other stagehands, because she never cared to, and would rather be left alone.
Then, something happened; She met Xavier Peace, her future husband. They became fast friends, Rose having the hugest crush on him since they met, though he had a girlfriend at the time. Time went on, and they grew closer, becoming best friends, and growing closer still when Xavier and Ember Slight had broken up. Rose came to love Xavier deeply, but never told him at first, afraid to scare him off. She finally told him after a man from her past started blackmailing her, and after things got ugly, Xavier saved her life. When Rose found out she was pregnant, Xavier stepped in to take care of her and the baby, even though he wasn't the father. On June 30, 2008, they were married. They now have two children, Cally Renee Peace, age 4, and Dimitri Benjamin Peace, age 1.
