Today marks the start of Open RP Month. It’s a little experiment we’re trying at RW to get people to mingle and interact with each other’s characters more. During Open RP month, for every three (3) RPs you are doing that are planned, you must start an open RP. What is an open RP, you may ask. An open RP is a scene where you post your character somewhere and anyone can respond. No planning happens ahead of time; the characters are left to merely interact and do what characters do best. Just be sure to advertise your open scenes and to check for ones to join in the OOC thread!
The rules for this event are as follows:
1. For every three planned scenes you participate in, you must start or otherwise take part in an open RP.
2. A pair of RPers may only do three open scenes together. (Example: X and Y are doing three open RPs together. If Y opens a new open scene Z or W could answer it, but X could not).
3. Be respectful of one another. Try to RP with people or characters you haven’t gotten to interact with or who you haven’t interacted with in a long time. You might surprise yourself!
4. If possible, mix up which characters of yours you put out for open scenes.
5. And lastly, have a blast!!
