Holy crap!
So, after a particularly long bout of depression and total lack of any inspiration whatsoever, I am back and feeling much better. The problem is, School starts tomorrow. Please forgive me if I caused any concern. I'd love to gradually work some writing back into my schedule, but things might be a little tight because of my classes. I am determined to not procrastinate and get bad grades this semester.

I have a new baby, everyone! His name's Dakota. I don't know If I'll be able to do much for a while, because I'm supposed to be writing a paper and making a presentation on John Dewey right now, but I can't focus, so I took a break. Hehe. But if anyone wants to play with him, just lemme know. Anyway, I'm going to post his first posty somewhere. Feel free to jump in if you like. ^__^

Hey y'all! I am thisclose to catching up. I owe Marissa in the rehab clinic and Erica in the university. This means the following people owe me: Marissa/Bill&Toni/Rooftop (Gala) Marissa/Lucian&Henry/Lucian's House Marissa/Santiago&Catalina/Bar (Gala) Marissa/Rafael&Alexander/Seine Marissa/Santiago&Georgette/Hospital Marissa/Natalie&Ashton/Bistro Erica/Toddy&Damien/Place du Tertre Lori/Santiago&Reese/Eiffel Tower Erica/Madeleine&Myron/Les Bains Nightclub Lori/Reese&Alexander/Champs Elysees I know it sounds like I'm doing a lot of scenes, but a few of them are likely to wrap up soon (Natalie/Ashton, Bill/Toni, and Santiago/Catalina are all headed towards denouement). That said, I'm always taking scenes! Personal notes: Nancy: You and I should do a scene sometime! I'd love to "meet" Dakota! Lori: We need to do some more Quentin/Noelle stuff! Let us plot via AIM or Skype soon. Katy: When school settles down a bit, we must get started on more Valter/Madeleine adventures! Also, Rowan/Santiago needs to happen.  Erica: We texted each other about this, but I really am working on the Toni post. It might be up by the end of this class period. Riss: We need to figure out our scene timelines. Also, text me? I miss you! General note: I ought to network Samara and Quentin. Takers are welcome! Lastly, two orders of site business: 1. As you may have read, the site censors are down. I don't know why. I'll try to get a hold of Proboards support. In the mean time, watch your mouths! (as you should anyways) 2. Deanna, I'm curious. Is Santiago's AI the guy that plays Gabriel on Blood and Chocolate? He looks stinkin' familiar.
Anyway, YES! I would love to do a sceney-scene thing with you.
Marissa, I posted in the Eiffel Tower for you.
Lori, you and I need to do a Dakota/Reece scene. ^__^ And you owe me a Maksim post in the Rouge foyer.
Also, to anyone who might be interested, my Rose muse is in need of some attention. Lori, I'm tempted to have her get pregnant again with hers and Xavier's third child. I think her reaction would be funny. Possibly. Who knows? Anyhoo, it's just an idea. Deanna, I know we've tried to do Rose/Santiago a million times, and it's just been ridiculous because we've never really went through with it, but could we try again? I think the half-Hispanic and the Spaniard really might have an interesting interaction. And I was wondering if we could continue the Linnea/Santiago scene at Les Bains. It's your call, though.
Anyway, this is me just trying to sneak in some writing with my many homework assignments. The only other stuff I've been working on is a Rose/Xavier thing about how they met and how their relationship developed, as well as a fanfic for Richelle Mead's Vampire Academy series that I haven't updated since earlier last year. I may not get around to posting right away, but I'll get to it when I get the chance.
Anyhoo, let me know if any of you are interested in doing a little writing with moi. Cheerio!

I'm gonna say "yes" to the Rose/Santiago thing, but no to the Linnea/Santiago thing because I'm in the midst of a scene in Les Bains. If, however, you'd like to try a different location, that would be dandy! Let's talk location, and get this ball rollin'!
And, yes, Santiago's AI is Olivier Martinez, French actor most famous for his role as Gabriel in cult hit, Blood & Chocolate, and the love interest in thriller/romance "Unfaithful". Also, for dating Halle Berry. XD

Anywhoo, I, too am avaliable. My Ashton, Penny, Aryeh, and Gerard muses could use some TLC and attention. So if anyone is interested, hit me up! I'm doing a show right now, so responding may be slow, but I'm still pumped and ready for really any plot someone wants to toss my way!

Deanna, if you like, we could do Rose/Santiago in the Bois de Bologne, and for Linnea/Santiago could take place somewhere in the Rouge. But the Rouge location is pending for Linnea/Maksim stuff. So other than that, I'm still trying to come up with a place other than the Rouge for it to happen.
I owe Marissa a Dakota post on the Eiffel Tower. Lori owes me in the Rouge... though I suspect that won't last very long. Other than that, I'm free.

*runs in trailing papers and books* NOT DEAD. Just...busy. I have not forgotten about you guys!! I have some time this weekend, and I will do my very utmost to catch up on the scene(s?) that I owe. And maybe start/continue some plottage. I know Deanna and I had some scene cooking up, but then I was like POOF! annnnnnd yeah. Also I'm sure Marissa and I were talking about some awesome scene... Okay, I still owe Marissa in the Eiffel tower, and I owe Lori in the Opera Garneir. Lori owes me in the Foyer. Also, I have Rose and her kids at the science museum (I couldn't help myself. I was excited), But she is free for rp-age. Anyone is welcome to go talk to her. Marissa, you you and Ashton want to have some Mommies unite action? If not, that's okay too. And Deanna, I was wondering if you were still up for Santiago/Rose. I haven't come up with a place for Linnea/Santiago yet, but I'll try and figure something out when I come home. I am super duper behind!! Okay, not entirely true. I owe Riss and Lori and possibly Nancy and possibly Elise. BUT I caught up to Erica at some point and Elise owes me once over, so, that's something. I'm in the midst of FAFSA, defensive driving, school stuff, and other miscellaneous paperwork stuff. Also, I have two RP babies in gestation at present, so... Not making excuses. I'm just unbelievable scattered. First up: Marissa, Olivier Martinez and Halle Berry have not confirmed their engagement. Until they do, I will not make assumptions. Second: Nancy, if there is one character I'm always up for writing, it's Santiago. Pick a place and we shall proceed! Third: I'm trying to figure out which scenes are wrapped and which are ongoing. If I have not responded to your post by tomorrow-- whoever you are-- and it was posted before noon today, PM me. Fourth: As an administrator, I have some news. 1. I updated the apartment section with a directory. 2. There is a gala feedback thread. Even if you didn't participate in the gala, please comment. Tell me what you would like to see in the future! I want to make this the best d*mn site on the internet! and 3. I created new sections for the Science Museum, Artist's Plaza, and a sample thread for what the Backstage Gossip section is for. Please, use them and learn to love them. More new "playgrounds" will be added on an as needed basis. If you have a request, you can post in the Beyond the Red Windmill section a prototype for the thread OR PM me your proposal. Our only limit is our imaginations. |

I remember we had some little plot birdies getting ready to hatch...we need to talk about what's going to happen in this scene, because if I recall correctly you (or was it me?) had something up your/my sleeve but it never evolved into anything because life ate me again.
