Myron Bolitar
(so it's not the most flattering of names, but it wasn't his choice- give him a break.)
Gender: Erm- Male?? This, I'm highly positive.
Age: 30 years & two months. But hey, whose counting?
Occupation: Moulin Rouge Owner & Talent Agent
A Look at Myron Bolitar:
Now who says a person cannot be successful when they live in their grandparents' basement? Well, Myron Bolitar pulls it off fairly well, might he add. Rumors would speculate that it would be due to his sensitivity, not wanting to break free from his family, from fear of independence, or that crap some overpayed therapist might try and throw at you. Yeah. Right. To put it bluntly, as he does with everything else, he just doesn't have the time, or in lowest terms: is too incredibly busy and lazy. Of course, you have to look at the bigger picture here. Myron grew up in New York City with his parents. His parents had grown up in Paris, but moved to New York. And his parents', parents stayed in Paris. Er, try and keep up here...
While young boys were dreaming of being a famous rockstar, or an astronaut, Myron spent his days, dreaming of being a dancer. Alright, not one of his proudest moments, but it was something he was passionate about. With everyone questioning his sexuality, his parents, were, well, attempting to be supportive, though it was easy to see, 'attempting' was the key word in all of this. The attempt being, the cliche's like: "follow your dreams" or "we're behind you one hundred percent of the way" yadayadayada, we have to say this because we're your parents. But that did not stop Myron at all. He took lessons, practiced, enrolled in academies, and actually gotten into a few musicals Off-Broadway in the chorus. It was his dream, and something that he was proud of. He had hoped his parents would eventually be proud too, but apparently Broadway wasn't that all impressive. I mean, it wasn't as if it were one of the main attractions in America or anything. Just as Myron was seemingly making his way to the top, it all crashed and burned when his knee blew out. A Broadway dancer, whose knee injury prevented him from making it into a lifetime career, Myron turned to NYU, graduated top of his class, and came out a hot shot Talent Agent.
A shot shot Talent Agent, who had no parents. Myron's parents died in September 11, both worked in the building. Ultimately, he didn't believe in running away from problems, or ever does, but this was different. This was something deep, too deep. Too emotional. His grandparents sprung the idea on him, why not make a fresh start in Paris? And yes, it was as easy as it sounded. New Agent to the business, nowhere to go, why the hell not. Low and behold, few months passed, Myron set up his own Talent Agency in Paris, and the reasoning of living in his grandparents' basement. Decent excuse, no?
Now Myron Bolitar sets out looking for fresh faces, new clients, the works, to keep his company running. His main source- The Opera Populaire.
Literally, a look at Myron Bolitar:
If looks could kill, he'd be a murderer. Cheesy, but true in his opinion, nonetheless. At 6'3, an athletic build, it's safe to say, Myron Bolitar is extremely sharp. At least, that's what the ladies tell him. Only, in a much more provacative way. Dancing helped him a lot in keeping such a muscular physique, but the main reason is, he was just naturally born beautiful. With a set of crystal blue eyes staring back at you, how can you resist his offers? Though, he has great skills, it's safe to say, Myron's looks help him in his carreer... Doesn't hurt his sex life either.
The irresistable charm of Myron Bolitar:
Myron's smart-*ss exterior hides a heart of pure mush, which makes him an even more appealing character. He doesn't show sympathy well, mostly because he really doesn't know the technique of consoling someone correctly. He has dry wit, and sarcastic humor that some may not find appealing, but it's his natural fashion. Nope, he's not a private eye in the traditional sense, but in the act of protecting and defending his clients' interests, he would and sometimes does venture into some pretty familiar gumshoe turf. Truly, he takes care of his clients and cares for them- no matter how difficult they are. Women are a speciality, and he is known to turn on something called, the "Myron Charm". Though, he never really is known to have one night stands. Whenever he is with a woman, it means something. But like that hopelessly romantic Waylon Jennings songs, he is just looking for love in all the wrong places. Sarcastic, nonchalant, hopeless romantic, Myron Bolitar is just always full of surprises.
