Character: Reese Cordova
Age: 26
Birthday: April 23rd
Gender: Female
Occupation: Dancer
AI: Racheal Leigh Cook
Appearance: Reese has been nicknamed "Pixie" all her life and for a very good reason. She is only 5 feet tall and with her choppy short black hair, bright blue eyes and petite figure, she definately looks like a story-book pixie. But there is a reason for the waifishly thin figure...something that she definately does not care to talk about.
Personality: She may be small, but she is full of energy and enthusiasm. She is extremely outgoing and seems to know no strangers. She isn't afraid to try something and has no qualms with dragging a shy friend (or stranger) along to do it with her...which tends to get her into a bit of trouble with said friend (or stranger). But with such such a vibrant and easy-going person, no one can stay mad for very long. The only thing that really gets Reese down is discussing her weight...mention a scale and she'll clam up.
History: Reese was born and raised in London, England. She was the yougest of three children with an older brother and an older sister, who were both in high school by the time she was born and now have families of their own. Reese's father passed away shortly after she was born from a severe heart attack and was raised soley by her mother.
Even when she was young, Reese loved to dance. Her mother took notice of this and desperately wanted her child to succeed and quickly enrolled her in dance classes which Reese continued to thrive at all through her school years. She even went on to attend a local, though prestigous, performing arts school in college.
It was there that she she began to notice something...though she was by no means even over weight and quite slender, she was no where close to the other girls. Curious, and ever outgoing, Reese asked one of the girls how she managed to stay so thin. The girl replied that she simply didn't eat. In fact, the girl bragged, she hadn't eaten anything in a day and a half. Reese desperately wanted to improve her dancing as much as possible and she figured if she were a little lighter on her feet, she could possibly perform better. She took skipping a meal a deal...then two....then all three, only eating a snack or two...finally she no longer ate hardly anything...literally starving herself to be thin. Even then, she felt she only kept getting fatter and fatter...she had no idea that the anorexia had taken over her mind.
Reese graduated from the performing arts school two years later and has since done many performances with several different performance groups. She always wanted to be a part of a true company, though and that was what she saw in the Opera Populaire. She wasted no time when she realized what she wanted, in getting there and found herself in one of the best dance troupes in the world! A dream come true for her.
