Rachel is a generally nice person when you're not on her bad side. It's a short list, but you really don't want to be on it. She's always up for meeting to people and going on a new adventure, especially if she can get a story out of it for the Newspaper she works for.

Feel free to post or PM with ideas/suggestions/etc ^-^, I'm up for pretty much everything!

So... For our first scene, we have a lot of options... So here is a narrowed-down list to start with: Tom Flannery is a 38 year old author and book seller from Ireland. I can see him and Rachel having some things in common (or at least to talk about!) since they are both writers. He's a little bit of a troublemaker (most of my characters are... hmm...), so if you're up for an adventure, we could give them a go! I've also been wracking my brain to remember which characters I have that are roughly Rachel's age. This is what I've come up with: Samara al-Jabiri is a 27 year old hospital administrator. She is into athletic pursuits (such as savate) and meditation. It's possible that they met while both in college (Rachel during her abroad years), if you'd like to have a character to share history of any sort with. Tristan Vidal is a 28 year old funeral director. He's totally socially awkward, can be funny sometimes, and he got his degree in NYC (despite being a native Frenchman), so they're kind of reversed in that respect. He's somewhat anti-journalist, though, since the media has been trying to do a story on his funeral home for years and he refused. So they might rub each other the wrong way... Damien Blackwood-Michaud is my 25 year old artist. He's friendly, not particularly worldly-wise, and he's getting his doctorate in art history. I don't think he and Rachel would know each other in any previous capacity, but he loves making new friends as a general rule. Madeleine de Chandon is my 31 year old choreographer. She's sassy, she's fun. She's also a lot of trouble. If you want to showcase Rachel's temper, Madeleine would be great to bring that out. Let me know who tickles your fancy -- or if you've spotted any other characters of mine you might be interested in. I'm really excited to start writing with you!

List time! - I could see Rachel and Tom perhaps growing a Mentor-mentee type of relationship, her getting advice from him, perhaps bouncing ideas off each other and all that. That could be fun ^-^
- Samara - It would probably be good for her to have a friend of some sort in the city and to have a bit of history with!
- Rachel and Tristan could probably have some amusing scenes. Frenemies sort of thing maybe? Rachel all like 'I want this story!' and Tristan all like 'Like hell you'll get it!' kind of thing xD
- Damien could be a good new acquaintance for a run in on the street or a museum or something?
- Madeleine- That could be a lot of fun too. Always at odds with each other or something. Like a game of tag, except...revenge tag! Or something xD, we'd have to do a scene with them to feel out how that would go!
To begin with though, I think a scene with Samara, Tom, or Tristan would be good ^^

Ooh. Tough call. I'll have to say one of my guys. I love Samara and all, but that's more plotting-intensive (figuring out how well they know one another and all that jazz). Also, Tristan and Tom are easier to write by far. XD I'm mildly infatuated with both the ideas you came up with. Can we do both? *puppy eyes*

Hello, bonjour, and welcome! We're so thrilled to have you! I'd love scenes with you. I have been waiting with every ounce of my being for an Anne Hathaway character to come here since I met one of her acting coaches, but was too full of characters to create one myself. SO! That being said and out of the way, let's talk character match up. - Olive Degarmo is a retired, world renowned opera singer who has fallen from grace and has issues. But she's sweet, I promise. Just slightly batty. - Gwendoline Fontaine is batty, too, but that's just her charm. She's a pastry chef with a neurotic painter life partner and she likes to adopt people. - Gerard Bonnaire is a socially awkward, colour blind doctor with OCD. He's kind, but often has blinders on. If Rachel ever needs a doctor, he's the man to call. - Kenneth Dahl is a literature student studying abroad from England. He works in the library and likes people almost as much as he likes books. - Penny MaCarthy quite possibly has a stick up her *ss, but someday she'll be Prime Minister of England, so all the seriousness will be worth it. But for now, she's stapling papers and getting coffee for the English Ambassador's secretary. Also, she is William MaCarthy's younger sister. So let me know if any of them catch your eye. If not, that's fine. I have a very big arsenal.

Yes! Anne Hathaway is amazing and that's so neat you met one of her coaches! Now let's see...List time for you! - Gwen - This could be a fun pair, and Rachel's always up for a good pastry and conversation. (And I love the Play by ^^) Perhaps becoming somewhat of a mother figure or her go-to person for advice on certain things?
- Kenneth - Being a writer, Rachel's big on books and probably does spend quite a bit of time in the library when she isn't out hunting for a story or something. I could see them having stuff to talk about for sure!
- Penny- I could see Rachel being somewhat annoyed by Penny xD, but I'd totally be up for doing a scene to feel that out ^-^

Of course we can! But I'm going to make you pick which one we start with ^-^ Haha! That's fair. Actually it's totally not because I suck at decision making... So it's probably not fair to you.Let's start off with Tom and Rachel. How does the library sound to you?

I feel like I'm a little late to the party!! Haha! I'd like to offer my characters too! - Reese Cordova: 25, a ballerina at the Opera House. Super sweet, energetic, and outgoing. Very short too. She acts closer to 17-18 most of the time, but she's a lot of fun! - Wes Harlow: 22, a chorus member at the Opera House. Nice guy, a bit sarcastic. Former boy-band member from England. Has a drug problem that is possibly relapsing. - Nikolai Tarasova: 28, a bar tender at a bar in a more dangerous side of town. Former Russian Mafiya hitman. Gruff, but also devilishly charming. - Dr. Reid Collier: 27, American FBI agent doing psychologist/consultant work in the Paris Police department. Genius level IQ and slightly socially inept. Feels the need to save everyone he can before schizophrenia takes him over. Let me know what you think!! Looking forward to it!!

here it is! If you click "The Latin Quarter", it's the BIbliotheque du Champs de Mars. Would you like me to start or would you prefer to?

Your turn for a list! <3 - Nikolai - You had me at former Russian hitman! Seriously xD. Rachel would totally want to try to get to know him more and do a story on him (I could see that probably having some negative side effects =p)
- Reese - She sounds fun! And would probably be good for keeping Rachel on the go when they hung out!
- Wes -This could be an interesting meeting. Rachel would probably be intrigued by the former boy-band thing, and if they're friendship developed enough I could see her being concerned about him relapsing and wanting to try and help.
- Dr. Collier - Hm...Rachel smells more stories...but, seriously could be an interesting meet as well. I could see her maybe volunteering to undergo a Psychology exam of some sort of research purposes and meeting him that way?

Haha! These all sound great!! Nikolai is prolly my strongest muse at the moment and I'm interested to see how they work. And the way you describe the interaction with Wes is awesome too! I can kind of see them getting to be friends and him sort of looking up to her like a big sister, which is something he's missed after losing his brother. Either and both are good interactions for me!
