Trent is an easy going, laid back young man with an over all optimistic view of life. He'll always have your back, or be there when you need him. He takes a real interest in people, and is full of surprises. Sure, sometimes he might get angry or a little jealous but doesn't that just make you normal? Usually he'll tell it like it, no matter the consequences. Why should telling the truth be a bad thing? He's an aspiring artist, working as a waiter while he tries to get a foothold in the artistic world.

I'm excited for Trent! I love the idea of a struggling artist!! That said, I have two guys who mess around with art, who he could totally meet. First up is Damien who is working towards his doctorate in art history. Damien comes from a super privileged background, prides himself on being a starving artist (which he isn't) and although he's ultra friendly, he's also super competitive and critical of other artists (perhaps because he can't quite get a foothold in the art world, as he'd been so sure he would). I notice that you said that Trent has a jealous streak... They would probably butt heads (and Damien would be sooo out of his league, since he has a tendency towards histrionics and logic fallacies). Then, there is Tristan, who is 75 percent funeral director and 25 percent "muralist" (read: tagger). He loves art of all kinds, is socially awkward, but could definitely make friends with Trent. He isn't nearly as competitive as Damien and, for the most part is pretty chill. I think it'd be cool if they eventually became buds.
