Hello all!
I apologize for not sending out a newsletter earlier in the month of June. Since I didn’t get around to it, consider this newsletter as counting for both June and July.
Firstly, I’d like to welcome any new or returning members to RW. I hope you enjoy your stay!
Second, I’d like to apologize to all members for staff absences between June 27th and June 30th. As it says in the Away Thread, Marissa leaves for England on the 25th (and will return July 6th) and I leave for a weekend retreat on June 27th (returning on June 30th). If you need any questions answered, please private message them to either of us. We will be more than happy to respond upon our respective returns.
When we’re both back, however, we plan to hit the ground running with the construction of RW’s next event: Summer Festival. This event will be based on Bastille Day, which is kind of like the French 4th of July. It takes place every year in Paris on July 14th and there are fireworks, parades, and a masquerade ball at the Place de Bastille. Expect more information on this in July. If you're curious about it, check out this informational web page.
Lastly, this is a reminder that we will be cleaning out the character profile section AND our membership. If you have been inactive for 6 months, your character(s) will be archived. If you have been inactive for a year or more, your account will be deleted. This allows for a clearer, more accurate picture of our activity levels for prospective members. If you are unsure about your status or your characters’ statuses, please email me (deannariggs@gmail.com) or PM Marissa or me. I will be checking both my inboxes before taking any action.
